You4Health! wants to empower young people to contribute to reducing excessive alcohol and drug use, and their consequences on wellbeing and mental health.

Young people’s wellbeing and mental health are disproportionately affected by alcohol and drug use. This is a top priority for youth organisations in Europe.

1. We have established a Youth Advisory Group (YAG) to contribute to all project activities and outputs.

2. We have mapped the scientific and grey literature, as well as surveying youth organisations in Europe, to collect good practices and examples of youth-led health promotion interventions among young people (18-29 years).

3. We have created an online training platform where youth organisations can find resources for implementing effective health projects in their local communities.

Good practices and examples

We have mapped youth-led interventions for preventing or reducing young adults' alcohol and substance use and related negative consequences. You will find examples of programmes, policies, and practices aimed at improving health and well-being or at reducing harm.

Online training

platform

We have created a freely-accessible online training platform where youth organisations can find resources for implementing effective health projects in their local communities.
